What is PLEX?
A one-stop destination to stream movies, TV shows, and music, Plex is the most comprehensive entertainment platform available today. It is GREAT on its own, but even better when you are plugged into my library (server)
SETTING UP:
(If you are currently using our server on Plex, you can skip this)
STEP 1:
Download the app for your smartphone or visit https://www.plex.tv/ on your web browser.
STEP 2:
Sign up for a free account using your email. Remember your username!
STEP 3:
Submit your username using this form.
STEP 4:
Download the Plex app for your smart TV. It should look similar to the logo below.
STEP 5:
Sign in with your Plex credentials. Click on 'Doodie's server'. You are set!
DID YOU KNOW?
On the Plex Home screen on your TV, you can hide or re-order sections you don't care for by "unpinning" them from the sidebar. Just hit the left button on your remote while the unwanted section is highlighted. To show hidden sections again, just go to ---More

Plex is free for you, but not for me. I pay a monthly fee for a Plex Pass and also a VPN. The Plex Pass enables me to broadcast outside of my network (my house) to your TV (your house). The VPN keeps all of us safe by masking our identities to our ISP's. I also regularly update the media library with new movies, TV series, music, and other crap. I would like to purchase a lifetime PLEX PASS ($150) so I wont have to pay a monthly fee anymore. So dig in those pockets big spender! Every little bit helps!

Sick of switching to your name on the sign-on screen? Go into the settings, under Experience, and make sure 'Automatically Sign In' is enabled. You can also turn off Pass Out Protection so whatever you're watching will play uninterrupted.
